County Line Raceway Set to Open The 2014 Season With Two National Events In One Weekend

For avid basketball fans ‘March Madness’ may symbolize the greatest time of the year as a field of 64 hopefuls hope to win the ultimate prize as National Champion. For the County Line Crazies and fans of dirt track racing this March is bringing a “madness of the dirt modified variety. The stars and cars of the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour as well as an expected fifty plus contenders from all of the United States are putting the final touches on their machines in hopes of claiming the record setting $10,000 dollar prize set back in November by the promoters of County Line Raceway. Each working diligently through the winter with the same aspirations of their court playing counterparts, to be the “Nationals Champion including NASCAR limited participant David Stremme of South Bend, IN.
Furthermore, a full slate of Friday night action is planned for fans in attendance with gates opening at 5pm and racing getting underway at 7pm. Friday nights racing activities include a full program of practice, heat racing, last chance qualifiers, and two 25lap twin $1,000 to win main events for the first appearance in track history for the nation’s fast growing dirt modified tour the Renegades of Dirt. The monumental top prize for the division will be the largest single day payout in the Eastern United States in 2014. The “National event that has caught the entire nations attention will be a can’t miss for ‘Tarheel State’ race fans featuring a full evening of modified and Late Model action beginning with qualifying scheduled for 6:15pm and heat racing promptly at 7pm. In addition to the Renegades of Dirt $10,000 to win A-Main a $750 to win “Race of the States is on tap for twenty of the evenings highest finishing non-qualifiers from each state represented from throughout the country. The Fastrak National Late Model Series is also set to pay a rich $3,000 dollar award to the 40lap main event winner of the inaugural Fastrak event at the Elm City oval.
